You're probably missing live music as much as we are!
2020, and now going into 2021, has been a rough time. Many of our clients who were scheduled to get married or hold fun events have had to cancel or postpone, and there haven't been too many opportunities for live music - no symphony, no summer music fest, no concert series.
LCQ is committed to being safe and healthy, and we have mostly been quiet with the exception of a few smaller outdoor weddings and concerts. We believe live music can still happen from a socially distanced space, with a small ensemble.
We are still available for weddings that follow legal guidelines in the State of California, and are happy to bring that classy live music to you at a park, beach, backyard, or other outdoor space. Along with us comes a fully wireless battery powered audio system that you can use for your vows and officiant, an added perk that we hope will make your wedding planning a little easier.
We also are offering outdoor neighborhood concerts. If you'd like to entertain your family, serenade a friend for a birthday, or bring the neighborhood out to a local park for a concert, we are happy to come perform! Kids love running around while we're playing and asking questions about the instruments, so it's a bit educational and a bit entertainment - we'll call it edutainment!
We'll play through a fun selection of movie music, jazz, Broadway & opera favorites, pop covers, and can customize our setlist for special requests. The benefit of a wind quintet is that we will still easily be heard and enjoyed while you are comfortable and safely distanced from us!
